Want to Collaborate on Substack?

So do these authors...

A couple weeks ago, I put a call out for authors who were open to collaboration opportunities on Substack…and a growing number of you responded saying you wanted to build your readership and community through podcast guesting/hosting, guest posts and/or giveaways.

I’ve now pulled together a list of everyone who completed the form and separated out by genre (vaguely, I had to roll up genres as the number of sections grew too long).

And even though I’ve done my best to bring it all to one place, I’ve struck some limitations as to how I present the information.

• Substack limits the number of links in one post so having a long list in the one page doesn’t work.

• Sharing the Google Sheet itself is fine but it looks really clunky, hard to find by genre

• If I create individual pages, it means updating lots of different locations (which grows unrealistic as our list continues to grow).

• I can host externally on Squarespace or a PDF but there’s no way to automate those entries if I do that (and ultimately, I’d love to have the Google Form push to the Google Spreadsheet which pushes to a readable format for you all)

• Separating out by ‘type of collaboration’ everyone was open to got really messy also.

If anyone reading this has suggestions, please feel free to reply, slide into my DMs or leave a comment. At this point trying to come up with the ‘perfect’ solution delayed putting out the one I have come up with. And I wanted you all to be able to start reaching out to each other over the holiday period…so, here we are.
